'The options are great and the choice so varied - what do I do first?'

Cotswold towns and villages: Whether it's discovering Broadway's hidden charms; Chipping Campden's splendour; Stow-on-the-Wold's variety; Bourton-on-the-Water's little Venice appeal; or the magic of The Slaughters, the beauty on our doorstep is superb and makes for a magical time.

Stratford-upon-Avon and The Shakespeare experience: a short drive away you can discover the splendour of all things Shakespearean including William's birthplace, Anne Hathaway's cottage and perhaps take in a Royal Shakespeare Company performance at the RSC Theatre.

Gardens galore: the Cotswold's climate makes for super gardens to view throughout the region. There are several renowned gardens worthy of a special visit and these include Hidcote Manor Garden, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, Mill Dene Garden and Batsford Arboretum to name but four within 15 minutes drive from Windrush House.

Eating and drinking is a joy: the Cotswolds has many great eating and drinking establishments to sample. Within Broadway we have restaurants, a brasserie, several pubs which also have restaurants and a Tandoori, which is housed in a 1450 AD barn.

A walkers' paradise: from our doorstep there are numerous walks to ramble along and these vary in length and difficulty depending on what challenge and length you want to tackle.

Exploring 'what's round that corner' is a real joy in the Cotswolds. Depending on your time and preferences there are many attractions and sights to see, in fact too many to mention: we'll gladly help you plan your itinery to make the most of your time at Windrush House.

Historic Houses and Castles are plentiful in the area: we have Sudeley Castle, the home of Katherine Parr, wife of King Henry VIII; Snowshill Manor, and its magnificent collection; Blenheim Palace, Winston Churchill's birthplace; Ragley Hall, Warwick Castle and Eastnor Castle all nearby.
